Anonymous is a private, invite-only platform for university students. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.
Everyone on the platform sees your posts and replies under your alias. Nobody — not other users, not admins through the normal product — sees your email attached to a post. Admin tools exist for moderation only and are protected by strong access controls.
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run Anonymous: Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting). They process your data on our behalf. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
Your account and content are kept until you delete your account. When you delete your account, your email, profile, posts, replies, and upvotes are permanently deleted from our database.
You can delete your account and all associated content at any time from Me → Delete account. If you have questions or need help, contact hello@anonymous.app.
If we materially change this policy, we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
